The editorial policy of All Media Converter is to use the standard size = bitrate × duration relation, show every step, copy platform recommendations only from the platform’s own help pages with a check date, and re-check every page at least every 180 days.
Sources we use
- Unit definitions: 1 byte = 8 bits; kilo, mega and giga as powers of 1,000 (decimal), with binary GiB noted where storage tools use it.
- Platform help pages (YouTube, Twitch and others) for recommended bitrates, linked and dated on each page.
- Reader reports by email or approved comments, used to fix calculators; reporters are not named.
The core formula
File size (bytes) = total bitrate (bits per second) × duration (seconds) ÷ 8. Total bitrate is video plus audio. Calculators show this step by step and say whether megabytes are decimal (MB) or binary (MiB).

Review
Every page is reviewed at least every 180 days, and sooner when a reader reports an error or a source changes.
